Product Report
1. What is a Product KPI?
The Product KPI report provides detailed statistics on the performance of individual products and product groups being sold by the business. It offers insights into sales volume, revenue, conversion rates, return rates, and more. This enables businesses to evaluate the effectiveness of each product and make strategic decisions to optimize profitability.
2. Product KPI Permission Settings
To view Product KPI reports in the system, you must be granted the appropriate permission for the Product KPI Statistics function.
Access: View statistics of product KPIs from orders you personally handled. (Department heads can view sales statistics of their subordinates by default.)
View All: View all product KPI statistics across the system.
3. Product KPI Overview
Filter options include:
Select specific products
Select product groups
Filter by lead sources
Select the reporting period: by month, quarter, year, or a custom date range
3.1. Sales Volume and Revenue
Sales Volume: Total value of products sold in the selected period. Formula: Sales Volume = Quantity × Unit Price
Revenue: Total amount collected in the selected period. Formula: Revenue = (Sales Volume – Discount) + VAT (Based on the discounts and VAT configured on each order.)
3.2. Top 5 Products by Revenue Chart
This chart displays the top 5 products generating the highest revenue in the selected month, along with their exact values and their contribution to the total revenue. All other products fall under the “Others” category.
This insight allows businesses to identify the top-performing products and services and make strategic adjustments to maximize sales effectiveness.
3.3. Revenue Fluctuation Charts
These charts show how revenue has changed compared to the previous period, helping businesses identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Top 3 Industries: Revenue change compared to the previous period for the three industries with the highest revenue this period.
Top 3 Products: Revenue change compared to the previous period for the top three best-selling products.
Top 3 Locations: Revenue change compared to the previous period for the three provinces/cities generating the most revenue.
3.4. Product Sales Table (Current Period)
This table details the number of units sold for each product in the reporting period:
Product Group: Based on groups set when the product was added.
Product Name
Unit of Measure: If left blank, the product doesn’t have a unit set.
Quantity Sold
Gift Quantity: Number of units given away as part of a promotional policy (recorded with a unit price of 0 VND).
Discount: Total discount applied to this product.
Sales Volume: Quantity × Unit Price
Revenue: (Sales Volume – Discount) + VAT
Proportion (%): Revenue contribution of each product relative to the total.
Profit: Total profit earned after deducting costs. Formula: Profit = (Quantity × Selling Price) – Product Discount – Order Discount + Installation Cost (if any) – (Quantity × Cost Price)

You can also click on each product to view detailed information or download the sales list for reporting purposes.
3.5. Returned Products Table (Current Period)
This table lists products returned by customers during the selected period, with details including:
Product Code
Product Name
Quantity Returned
Return Value
Order Code
Import/Export Receipt Code
Common reasons include: product defects, contract violations, wrong item/model/color delivered, etc.
To track returned products, the Inventory module must be used to perform “Product Return Import” operations.
