Question 1. How do I change my account password on Getfly?

1. Change password for your own account

  • First-time login: After a new account is created and used to log in for the first time, the system will prompt you to change your password for enhanced security.

  • After logging in: You can change your password at any time via:

1.1. On the web (PC):

Click on your avatar (top right corner) → Select your name → Personal Info → Edit Info

Enter your old password, new password, confirm the new password → Click Update to save.

1.2. On the mobile app:

Tap your name (top left corner) → Change Password

Enter the old password, new password, confirm the new password → Tap Update.

2. Change password for employees

To change another user’s password, your account must have the appropriate permissions under User Management.

Go to Settings → User Management → Click the edit icon for the desired account

Enter the new password and click Update.

3. Password requirements

When setting a new password, make sure it meets the following criteria:

  • Minimum 8 characters

  • Includes both uppercase and lowercase letters (e.g., A, B, C…)

  • At least one number (e.g., 1, 2, 3…)

  • At least one special character (e.g., @, #, $, %, &...)

Examples: Getfly2024!, Getfly2024@, getFly2024#

4. Notes on login after changing your password

To ensure system security, changing your password will automatically log out all active sessions.

  • If changing your own password (Section 1):

Web: Logged out immediately

App: Logged out after 5 minutes

  • If changing another user's password (Section 2):

Web & App: Logged out after 5 minutes

Question 2. What is the default admin account in Getfly, and what should I know about it?

1. Default Admin and Permission Group

The default admin account is the first account created in your Getfly CRM system.

  • The default permission group is the first role/group created and assigned to this account.

  • Default Admin characteristics: Cannot be deleted, Cannot change its permission group, Can update email address in Personal Info

  • Appears at the top of the user list in User Management, marked with an (i) icon

  • Default Permission Group: Cannot be deleted or have permissions revoked

  • New permissions can be added, but existing ones cannot be removed

2. Modifying the Default Admin Account Change default admin email:

Go to Settings → User Management → Edit the admin account

Update the email → Click Update

Then verify the email via Personal Info → Click the (i) icon next to the new email to confirm

⚠️ Email verification is required to reset the password in case it's forgotten.

Change login name:

  • Login name follows the email

  • After updating the email, go to User Management → Edit admin account → Update the Login Name field accordingly

Change display name:

  • Go to User Management → Edit the admin account → Update First Name and Last Name

Change password:

  • Via Personal Info → Edit Info → Tick Change Password → Enter old & new password

  • If you've forgotten the old password, click Forgot Password on the login page (email must be verified beforehand)

  • Alternatively, go to Settings → User Management → Edit the admin account → Set a new password → Click Update

Question 3. What should I do if my Getfly account is locked due to too many failed login attempts?

If you enter the wrong username or password more than 5 times, your account will be locked for 2 hours.

To unlock:

Step 1: Log in with an admin account or any account with permission to manage users

Step 2: Go to Settings → User Management → Find the locked account → Click the key icon to unlock

Step 3: Set a new password for the user to log in again

Question 4. How can I check the login history of a Getfly account, including device and location details?

Answer: Currently, Getfly does not support viewing detailed login history (device information or login location). However, some security features are available:

You can track the last login time of each user account.

The system supports OTP verification (via email or SMS) upon login for added security.

Question 5. How can I log out of all devices that were previously used to access a Getfly account?

Answer: There are two ways to automatically log out from all devices:

Option 1: Change the account password

When a password is changed, Getfly automatically logs out the account from all devices for security reasons.

  • If the password is changed via: Personal Information → Edit → Change Password (for self-password change on Web/App):

On Web: Logout occurs immediately

On App: Logout occurs after 5 minutes

  • If the password is changed via: Settings → User Management → Edit password (for employees):

On Web: Logout occurs after 5 minutes

On App: Logout occurs after 5 minutes

Option 2: Delete the account

After an employee leaves, you can delete their account from the system. This ensures they can no longer access Getfly.

After deletion, the account will be automatically logged out from all devices (Web and App) within 5 minutes

To delete an account: Go to Settings → User Management → Click the trash icon next to the user account

Question 6. Can I download the user list from Getfly to Excel?

Answer: No. To ensure information security and comply with privacy policies, Getfly does not allow exporting the user list to Excel.

To view the current user list, go to: Settings → User Management

Question 7. Why can’t I create a new user account on Getfly?

Answer: There are two main reasons why account creation may fail:

  1. User limit reached for your plan

Check your system’s user limit at: Settings → System Info → Number of Users in Use

You can either remove inactive accounts or contact Getfly to upgrade your user limit.

  1. Duplicate username/email detected

If the system shows a duplicate error, it may be because the username or email already exists, including accounts that have been deleted.

Solutions:

  • Option 1: Use a different username/email for the new account.

  • Option 2: Restore the previously deleted account that caused the conflict.

Change its username/email to avoid duplication.

Delete the restored account again.

Proceed to create the new account with the intended username/email.

Question 8. Can I temporarily deactivate a user account on Getfly?

Answer: No. Getfly currently does not support temporary account suspension. However, you can restrict access in two ways:

Option 1: Delete the user account Go to Settings → User Management → Delete the account

Option 2: Move the user to a no-access permission group

Go to Settings → Permissions → Create a new permission group

Do not assign any permissions

Assign the user to this group

This method ensures the user cannot perform any actions even if the account is still active.
