Question 6. What is the task sorting logic on Getfly?
Sorting tasks in project details:
For tasks in a list format, the order of priority is as follows: unread notifications → task ID → task status.
Tasks with unread notifications will be sorted to the top.
Task ID: The newer the task, the higher the task ID, and it will be displayed first (regardless of whether the task start date is in the past or future).
Task status: Late → Waiting for confirmation → In progress → Newly assigned → Completed → Canceled
Sorting tasks in Kanban view:
Tasks are sorted by priority: tasks with unread notifications will be sorted to the top, and other tasks will be sorted by descending task IDs.
In Kanban view, in addition to automatic sorting based on the logic above, you can also manually reorder tasks by dragging and dropping.
Sorting tasks in customer details and Task Timeline screen (F9):
Tasks are sorted by their start time, with the tasks having later start times appearing at the top. Within a day, tasks are sorted by ascending task ID.
Question 7. Why are certain accounts automatically added when creating a new task on Getfly, and how can this be changed?
The following accounts are automatically added as related persons when an employee creates a task in the system:
Direct supervisor: The direct manager of the person creating the task within the same department (e.g., department head, deputy head, team leader).
Highest supervisor of the parent department: The head of the department higher up in the company’s organizational chart.
This means that the highest-ranking person in the company’s department hierarchy will automatically be added as a "Related Person" when an employee creates a task.
